Billeting one of our hockey players for the season is an opportunity you don’t want to miss! Hosting a billet hockey player can be an incredibly rewarding experience for families and individuals. Here are some key benefits of becoming a billet host:

1. Support Local Hockey and Athletes: By hosting a player, you directly contribute to the development of young hockey players between the ages of 16-21. Many hockey players rely on billet families for support during their careers, especially when they come from out of town. Your support helps them focus on their training and performance, contributing to their success both on and off the ice.

2. Cultural Exchange: Billet players often come from different cities or countries, providing an opportunity for cultural exchange. Our team is diverse with a select few players from around the world, many from Québec, and indigenous youth. Hosts can learn about new traditions, customs, and lifestyles while sharing their own experiences, creating a rich, diverse environment for the whole family.

These players are also called upon to support our community initiatives, which our billet families indirectly support.

6. Compensation and Benefits: Our program offers compensation for hosting a player, covering the costs of meals, lodging, and the team arranges transportation. Additionally, hosting a billet player includes benefits like attending home games and events for free, and getting closer to the excitement of competitive hockey.
